About the Speaker

Jeff Haynie is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor having started started 4 venture capital backed companies and several others before that. Jeff started programming in Basic at the age of 12. He has a passion in open source software and has been involved in open source projects for over 2 decades.

Most recently, Jeff was the co-founder and CEO of Appcelerator, one of the world’s leading mobile development platforms which was acquired over 18 months ago by Axway. Appcelerator built a community of almost a million developers, 100,000+ apps in the App Stores and over half a billion end users using the extremely popular open source mobile app framework, Titanium. In 2012, Jeff received the Thomas Edison Innovators Award for his work with Titanium.

Today, Jeff has recently started a new startup called Pinpoint focused on helping companies leverage analytics to better understand and improve their performance in their software development efforts.
