Is it possible to set different roles to see different data in one space?

Sure. You can configure different permissions (Read, Create, Update, Archive/Unarchive) per Role, for different Content Types.
Refer to Settings > Roles, Create a new role of just update existing one. In Content section choose Read and define what Content Type users with this role are allowed to have an access to.
