One of our customers suggested adding mailto: and tel: link options in the rich text editors URL editor.
While i mentioned that it does state that the normal URL can contain protocols, he was concerned that it was a bit on the technical side to assume that his editors knew what that meant.
It should not change how the link is created or represented. Its purely in the editor, that it would be helpful to say “Emaillink” or “Phonelink” instead of having to type “mailto:”
