There is a predefined file types validation (image, video, etc…) for media files, but I need to validate the file name (using regex) and/or extension. Is there a way to do that? Maybe using UI extensions?

You can actually validate a short-text field using regex by configuring that field.

That would indeed not be possible at the moment. Still, I made sure to send out your feedback to our product team as a feature request.
Do we have any update on this? we have another customer who wants Regex on a media field type?
