Right on reference fields

Hi

On a entry, for “reference” field, even if one is not allowed to edit the field, it looks like it is possible. In particular, we can click on “link existing entries” and we’re blocked only when saving the link. Could it be possible to have at least the same behavior as on the create “create new entry and link” (nothing happens) ?

I see. I think it’s a bit more complicated comparing to Create new asset and link option, because restrictions are applied to event of changing field, while opening dialog with existing assets is not yet changing the field. But I got your point and I agree with you. Passing this to the team.
