[Urgent] How do I get the image description in the markdown editor

I’ve got images uploaded in the media, with descriptions.

I am using the insert media option in the markdown editor to add the image to the content, and it adds the appropriate markdown to reference the image. However, how do I get it to use the description from the image for the alt text, rather than having to type it out as this seems a bit pointless.

I don’t want to have to repeat the description again, it’s already been written once.

Hi @digital,
I believe that inside our Markdown editor, that would not be possible. But in your own application you will need to examine which Markdown to HTML converter you are using and add the same description also for the alt text.
