Grammarly spell check

Grammarly spell check is not applied to all of the necessary “input” like elements.

Longer text inputs (text-areas work just fine). But other elements don’t.

You can check the compatibility using these simple checks.

Inputs used for “short” text seems to be too short in height (but I’m not sure if there isn’t also some other problem).

For the rich text, editor problem seems to be that it is not a text-area but just a div.

I suppose that checks like these could be also integrated into the UI unit tests.

This would be a really nice feature to have. Grammarly is a life saver when it comes to writing blog posts. It would be nice to not have to run my contentful posts through grammarly and instead do it inline.

Hi there,

From our documentation the Grammarly plugin should work with our Rich text field:

If it’s not the case, please let us know and we will look into it.

Hi Alma,

The Grammarly plugin does show suggestions, but when you click on them, they are not automatically applied. You need to manually apply them.

Is this a universal Contentful issue? If yes, it would be amazing to get this looked at as the click-to-apply function would make that final grammar check a lot faster.

Cheers,
Chloe
